Technical Specifications and Standards

The dBadge is an integrating noise dosimeter, also known as a Personal Sound Exposure Meter or PSEM. It is essential that such a dosimeter meets the correct US, European, Canadian and other international standards. Although these standards are based on the sound level meter standards (ANSI S1.4, ANSI 1.43 and IEC 61672), it is important that a dosimeter meets the standards below, which are specifically for noise dosimeters.
